This vehicle has been carefully equipped with a range of high-quality enhancements to make it even more practical, versatile and capable, particularly for customers who require additional load-carrying and towing functionality.
The load area has been upgraded with a premium Real Truck roller shutter, manufactured by Mountain Top Industries. This provides a secure and convenient way of protecting the contents of the load bed, while still allowing quick and easy access whenever required. The roller shutter gives the vehicle a clean, integrated appearance while offering an additional level of security and weather protection.
To further protect the load bed, an ARB bed liner has also been professionally fitted. The durable liner helps protect the original surface from everyday wear and tear, scratches, impacts and general use, making the vehicle better suited to demanding working environments and regular transportation of equipment and materials.
For towing capability, the vehicle has been fitted with a Tow-Trust Towbars Ltd towbar, complete with 13-pin dedicated electrics. The dedicated electrical system has been integrated with the vehicle’s existing electronics, ensuring the towing functions work correctly and reliably.
As part of the installation, the vehicle was also professionally programmed to recognise when a trailer is connected. This allows the vehicle to identify a trailer and activate the appropriate vehicle safety systems automatically. This is particularly important when towing, as it ensures the vehicle’s safety and stability systems are configured correctly for the additional load and changing driving conditions.
The towbar installation was also type approved by us, providing the necessary certification for the vehicle and confirming that the installation meets the required standards. Type approval is a legal requirement for applicable unregistered vehicles and provides important reassurance that the towbar has been installed correctly, with full traceability and appropriate quality control for this safety-critical component.
