🔧🚐 Another brand-new van transformed into a fully equipped working vehicle!
There’s nothing quite like taking delivery of a brand-new van and turning it into a vehicle that is genuinely ready to work from day one.
This time, we welcomed a brand-new Toyota Proace into the workshop, where we fitted a complete package of practical upgrades designed to improve storage, carrying capacity, security and day-to-day usability.
🪚 Bespoke wooden racking
Inside the load area, we installed a fully bespoke wooden racking system, designed to make the best possible use of the available space.
Rather than simply filling the van with generic shelving, the racking has been designed around the way the vehicle will actually be used. The system provides dedicated storage areas for tools, equipment, consumables and materials, helping keep everything organised and easily accessible.
For anyone who spends their working day in and out of a van, good organisation can make a huge difference. Being able to quickly find the right tool or piece of equipment without having to search through loose items saves time, keeps the load area tidy and helps make the vehicle a much more efficient mobile workspace.
The bespoke design also allows the customer to maximise the usable load space without unnecessarily compromising the capacity of the van.
📦 Additional carrying capacity
To make the most of the vehicle’s external carrying capability, we also fitted Van Guard Accessories Ltd roof bars.
Roof bars are an excellent solution for transporting longer or bulkier items that cannot easily be accommodated inside the load area. By making use of the roof space, the customer gains additional flexibility without sacrificing valuable internal storage.
We also installed a rear roller system, creating a practical and convenient solution for carrying and accessing equipment at the rear of the vehicle.
Together, these additions give the Proace a much greater level of versatility, allowing the customer to transport a wider range of equipment while keeping the main load area organised.
🔒 Enhanced vehicle security
Of course, all that equipment needs protecting.
To give the vehicle an additional level of security, we fitted hook-style deadlocks to help protect the van and its valuable contents.
The deadlocks provide an additional physical layer of protection alongside the vehicle’s original locking system, while also acting as a strong visual deterrent to potential thieves.
For a working van carrying valuable tools and equipment, investing in additional security is an important consideration. The vehicle is often effectively a mobile toolbox, so protecting what’s inside is just as important as having the right equipment in the first place.
🚐 Ready for work
The finished Toyota Proace is now much more than a standard panel van. It has been transformed into a fully equipped, organised and secure mobile workspace, ready to take on the demands of everyday business.
With bespoke internal storage, additional roof carrying capacity, a rear roller system and enhanced security, every part of the conversion has been chosen to provide a practical benefit to the end user.
And, as always, the aim is to create a vehicle that works for the customer, rather than simply fitting a standard package and hoping it meets their needs.
